Title: HR Manager

Reports to: Director of People Operations Manager

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Job Type: Full time 40 hrs/wk

Experience: Senior Level

Responsibilities

Overseeing HR operations and ensuring compliance with clients request and HR rules and regulations.

Maintaining a smooth onboarding process, and providing training, counseling, and coaching to the staff.

Leading a team of human resource officers and reviewing their performance.

Engaging with management to understand priorities and provide advice regarding HR policies and procedures.

Maintaining employee records according to policy and legal requirements.

Reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.

Supporting the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.

Carrying out necessary administrative duties.

Managing the arrangement of shuttle services and working schedules (Shifts) for employees with the help of the operations team

Preparing clear and concise reports to clients and Operations team

Helping the recruitment team in the preparation of job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.

Performing other duties assigned by Director of People Operations Manager.

Requirements

BA degree in Human resources, Management, or related fields.

3+ years of relevant experience in HR functions.

Excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, training & development, etc.

Experience working and communicating with international staff is a plus.

Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.

Strong report writing skills.

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Strong decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must be self-motivated and capable of promptly and effectively monitoring, coordinating, and communicating strategic objectives.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems
